  Best doctor in the area by far. Pays attention. Keeps good records. etc.. He is very realistic with you. He doesn't use scare tactics on you to get you to do what he wants. He tells you like it is. I am visiting him twice a month for opiate and benzodiazapine addiction and he has done everything in his power to help me stay clean. I have been clean for well over a year now and he has much to do with it. (rather than just switching me from opiates to benzos like my last doctor). I would give him 10 stars if I could. Very caring and understanding doctor. I trust him with my life.

  I dont recommend this place at all. Here is why. I needed a medical exam for immigration purposes. I decided to call first and then also stop by at Virginia Advanced Medical Centre to find out what they will have to do and also about the fee. The lady at the reception said that the fee is $470. I told her that I dont want to take any vaccination because my body doesnt react good on vaccinations, she said ok then the fee will be $200. Perfect, I thought, and decided to schedule an appointment. At the day of the appointment (I was scheduled for 9am). I arrived at 8:56am and noticed that there are 3 more people waiting in front of the door. The door was still locked so all of us had to wait and stand before the door. It was a glass door so we could see the receiptionist's sitting behind their desks and they saw us waiting. At 9am one of the receptionist's opened the door and we walked to the waiting room and sat down. It was about 9:05am when the doctor (Dr. Chin Oh Kim) arrived to the office. I remembered that I had an additional question about the exam results if they are included in the fee. Simply because I like to be prepared and have all information in advance. So I walked to the receptionist desk. First of all, the receiptionist I was talking to, looked totally bothered, she answered my question and then she asked whats my name without saying Good Morning or just beeing nice in general, like I would expect at the doctor or anywhere else. Then the medical exam was performed and they also told me to come back on Wednesday (two days later). When the doctor walked in to the room, I told him about the vaccination that Im not taking it because of my bad reactions in the past. He had some questions and after that he said ok. After everything was done, the receptionist asked me for $470. I said I was told that the fee will be $200. The receptionist asked me who gave me this onformation. I replied that I was here last week (few days ago!) and the same lady which scheduled me, told me it will be $200 without vaccination. Her reply shocked me, she said the lady gave me the wrong information and she is not working here anymore and that basically I have to pay. She also said that they have to do some additional tests. I wasnt aware of any "additional tests". I asked her why the lady last week didnt mention the additional tests? She was also claiming that I didnt have any documents from my previous doctor. I told her that I mentioned it last week that I dont have any documents and the lady said ok and didnt say that it will be more expensive because of that. After a while she said that I can talk to the doctor. I was waiting for the doctor. The doctor (Dr. Chin Oh Kim) never came out from his office to talk to me. He even walked around and saw us talking but he didnt stop to explain why this happened. For me this simply means, he doesnt care about his patients. I was calling to my husband because I was so upset that I have to pay twice as many. He asked me to put him on speaker so he can talk to the receptionist. It didnt help. If someone tells you that the fee will be $200 just few days ago and at the end is $470, of course you wont be happy about it. I wasnt. I dont recommend this place at all. They tell you the fee is this one day or the day you are scheduling but you will end up paying much more. I cant imagine what would happened if I would use this place for more serious intervention, I would end up paying thousands of dollars more. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I wont ever come back. Never! The best you can do is AVOID IT.
